Today’s podcast episode is all about what we can do as teacher mama’s when we feel like our future is uncertain and we feel a lack of control. Springtime brings (hopefully) a time when we find out our job assignments for the following school year. Most of us most likely hope we are staying in the same spot. But we also know that might not happen.
I am in a season of uncertainty myself. I’m unsure what next school year will bring. And I am not a patient person. It is really hard for me to wait and see how things will turn out. It is also hard for me to just trust that everything will work out. BUT it is also really important to me that I am present and soaking up the remainder of the current school year. So I used a 3 step process to gain back my control and feel more at peace.
This episode is for you if:
Do you feel overwhelmed at the end of the school year?
Do you feel like your future is out of your control?
Are you thinking you might be switching grade levels, buildings, or positions over the summer?
Do you want to manage and control this current situation so you can feel present and at peace?
Wanna work with us to feel more focused and efficient during your work day so you can feel more focused and present during your time at home?

Exercise helps you sleep. It gives us endorphins (the happy hormone) which also helps reduce stress. This is often a big reason why you can't fall asleep at night. Exercise also helps increase the natural release of melatonin in our bodies which if you listened to previous episodes, you know, helps us fall asleep at night.
There is so much research out there on how 30 minutes of aerobic exercise helps with sleep quality but let's get into some ways you can fit it in during your crazy busy Teacher mom day!
