We too were overstimulated and overwhelmed, brought too much work home, struggled with keeping up on the house chores and dinner, and did zero things that we enjoyed outside of school. We finally realized that if we were going to live more energetic and balanced lives, we needed to learn different routines, time management, and stress relieving strategies. We created a plan that fits *us* and is actually easy to stick with. A lifestyle that made teaching, momming, and wifeing easier and fun again. And we’re ready to share it with you! In the last year, Ashley has started her own podcast called The Balanced Nurse and teaches nurses how to manage their time and create a healthy work-life balance so they can achieve their goals!
Today's episode is a back and forth convo between Ashley, Roberta and Ashley about how nurses and teachers can take control of their after and before work routines to have a more balanced and joy filled lifestyle.

Tomorrow is Halloween. And I have gotten caught up in the negative headspace around halloween being on a school night this year.
But I realized that the way in which I think about Halloween this year will end up predicting how the event and following days actually go. I don’t want to feel stressed all week long. I want to choose to make this a joyful week not just for the kids, but for myself as well. So let’s chat about how to make this happen.
