Today we are talking with Alexis Greco, the systems queen! She is the creator of the Rhythmic Home which helps entrepreneur moms create a systematic rhythm for their lives instead of trying to balance everything equally (which is basically impossible with the way she explains it!)
In this episode, we are weaving in the rhythmic home with teacher parents by talking about:
1) How to slow down to speed up and find what's truly important to you.
2) How to move from a 9 month teacher schedule to a 3 month summer schedule.
3) How to split your day into different time parts. This way if one gets completely off, you get an entire do-over that same day!
4) Time blocking vs. Splitting your day up into different parts and also finding ways to communicate your day with your partner.
5) How she does it all...or does she!? Yup that's right, getting help is the new normal- how to delegate the things that you hate doing to live more in alignment.
6) Simple systems and how to involve them in your day at school and at home.
7) How to create clarity in your brain with a mental brain dump and walk through so you can find the areas in your life that need a system attached to them.
AS ALWAYS, don't forget to share this podcast and tag us both if you found value! We are always grateful for you listeners!

This episode is all about why it is important to let our kids “fail” and struggle, instead of automatically stepping in thinking we are helping them. Kids learn so much through productive struggle. Be there to guide them, sympathize with them, and help them when needed. But it is so important to make sure not to cross over the line from helping to doing and taking over.
Kids learn so many great life skills when they are taught it is okay to struggle. Not everything is easy. And when we try something new it most likely won’t be easy. The fear of failure holds so many of us back as adults, so what can we do to help our kids embrace the possibility of failure and teach them skills to continue on when things get challenging?

Outdoor classrooms!? What!?
Today, we chatted with Ashley's good friend Megan Patterson. They met while working in Alaska but something happened while up there that shortened her stay which was a beautiful blessing. Because of this; she established an outdoor based early childhood-8th grade school she has worked so hard to create!
Megan talks all about her struggles in this journey, the challenges and the beauty that it has created for her son and all the twice-exceptional and neurodiverse children in her area.
Not sure what twice exceptional and neurodiverse means? She talks all about that too and how having an outdoor based school for these types of kids helps them thrive.
Is your child struggling in school and you're not quite sure why? This is a great episode to get you to explore other options for them and to maybe even get them tested to see what things you can be doing to help them (oh yea, Megan talks all about that too;) I would also encourage you to check out the Worldmind Nature School website here (https://worldmindnatureschool.com/).
Worldmind Nature School is based out of Colorado but it may get you thinking about other options for your kids if you're not in the Denver area.
We also go deep into why being outside is so important for EVERYONE and how this is such an important part of self- care that a lot of us forget about!
